Brief
If you cannot say the loop in two sentences, the AI cannot either.
A first browser game dies in adjectives (“epic, unique, open world”). It lives in verbs: dodge, eat, bounce, tap. GameDever’s essence questions are those verbs.
Fill these before Generate
- Essence — what you do in the first ten seconds. “Dodge barriers in three lanes” is a game. “A cinematic adventure” is not.
- Who — couch phone, desk break, kid next to you. One audience.
- Loop — spawn, move, score, speed up. The thing that repeats.
- Win / lose — most arcade games only have lose. Say so.
- Controls — arrows and tap. If you skip touch, you skipped the phone.
The runner / snake / breakout / clicker chips on the hub are starter briefs, the same role as Sitecraft’s café chip. Steal one, rewrite the name, Generate.
